This whimsical stained glass
artwork, Lollipop

2 is still for sale. I hang it often in my living room
window, and I fall in love with it every time.
I had just looked up from reading a book on the couch a few weeks ago
when I fell in love with it again. Just then, the thought occurred to
me that it might be time for a Lollipop Jungle update. The artwork
above is the result of that thought, and I'm happy with the results.
The photo above looks fairly accurate although the biggest lollipop is
deep blue, not a shade of purple as it looks here. If you want to
see this blue glass accurately, it shows well as the outer border
glass in the lower photo here.
Also, as with all photos of stained glass where textured
clear glasses were used, those glasses do not show up well here. In the
photo above, the textures look better on the left side of the photo and
can hardly be seen on the right side.
 The
artwork is made with 1/2" lead for the background and 3/16" lead for
the lollipops. All lead and solder have been darkened with a chemical
patina. The wood frame is painted black, with a clear satin
polyurethane finish.
The stained glass measures 34" wide by 26" high. With the wood frame,
the total size is 39" wide by 31" inches.
