For
an exclusive
home in Colorado, I was asked to match the wrought-iron that was
integral to the architecture of the house. This is one of the many
windows I did for the home.
This design shows the effective use of
different line
values, here by
using different sizes of lead came
(the black lines between the pieces of glass). It also shows an
effective use of overlays (the ends of the spirals), lines that touch
no other
lines.
The use of subtle colors, combined with
textured clear
glasses, made
these artworks a focal point of every room in which they were used..
