Here is another Judaic gift that would be
ideal for a Jewish wedding present or a Bat Mitzvah present.
Right now, this Judaic artwork says, "And you shall love your neighbor
as yourself" in Hebrew. However, if you wish to change this lettering,
I will do so at no additional charge. The new lettering you specify
could be in Hebrew or English, and it could say whatever you desire.
For example, a wedding present might have the names of the bride and groom
and the date of the event in both the Jewish and Roman calendars.
Other examples of lettering done this way can be seen in my steampunk stained glass, or this company logo in stained glass, or this artwork I adapted for a pantry door stained glass.
I used 3/16" lead in the border and 5/32" lead in the center. The
outside edge is a 3/4" U-shaped zinc came, which gives the artwork a
framed look and provides more than adequate strength as well. This
artwork is not currently patina-ed, but we can talk about whether or
not you might want that option, and if you did it would not add to the
price.
Overall size is 21" wide by 21" high. It has loops soldered to
the back for hanging.
