Here is a set
of stained
glass cabinet doors that combines a contemporary design
with both clear textured glasses and brightly colored glasses.
This photo was taken prior to installation since interior doors look
great to the human eye, but don't photograph well once
they're installed.
Every commission I undertake adds to my
knowledge in
some way. This commission broadened my sense of color. Although I would
not have previously suggested red and blue and orange and yellow
together (thinking it was
too bright and would look gaudy), the clients commissioning this
artwork were very sure that this color combination was exactly what
they wanted. And it came out great! I was very impressed with
this color combination.
