glass often
disappoint me. Whenever I am commissioned to do animals in stained
glass, I try to make them in a way that won't be trite. Here, the
client wanted a "whimsical" feeling.
This stained glass window depicting a
rooster is mounted
in the kitchen door (leading out to the back yard) of a home owned by a
couple who have a collection of roosters in various media. The husband
had this made as a birthday present for his wife. She loved it!
The background is a softly textured clear
glass. The
tail feathers are one of the many multicolored glasses available.
