Here is a Judaic artwork that
would be ideal for a Jewish wedding present or a Bat Mitzvah present. I
am
showing you two images of the same artwork here because this is the
kind of stained glass that doesn't photograph well. On the left is a
photo of this Judaica artwork in front of a honeycomb blind. This shows
the subtle colors in the background well, but makes the dark green in
the leaves look black. On the right is a photo of the artwork with the
blind raised. This shows the bevels in the outer border and the
different textures of the glasses I used. It also hints at the dark
green in the leaves, but they still look much darker here than they do
up close.
Right
now, this Judaica artwork says, "And you shall love your neighbor
as yourself" in Hebrew. However, if you wish to change this lettering,
I will do so at no additional charge. The new lettering you specify
could be in Hebrew or English, and it could say whatever you desire.
For a Wedding present, it could have the names of the bride and groom
and the date of the event in both the Jewish and Roman calendars.
I used
3/16" lead in the border and 5/32" lead in the center. The
outside edge is a 3/4" U-shaped zinc came, which gives the artwork a
framed look and provides more than adequate strength as well. This
artwork is not currently patina-ed, but we can talk about whether or
not you might want that option, and if you did it would not add to the
price.
Overall
size is 19-1/2" wide by 22-7/8" high. It has loops soldered to
the back for hanging.
The selling price of this unique piece of Judaica is $1400.00. Contact
me for a final quote that includes fully-insured shipping.
